FAQ

  • How do I acquire your services?
You can contact me through the chat box or the contact page. After receiving your request, I will provide you with a cost estimate and an estimated timeline for the project. Upon your approval, an invoice will be issued, and a 50% deposit will be required before any work begins. Throughout the project, I will keep you updated on the progress either via email or the provided contact information. Once the project is completed, I will deliver the final product to you via email or Google Drive. If you require 3D prints, they will be shipped to the address you provide. Shipping costs will vary depending on the size of the parts. If you need a part scanned, we will provide a P.O. box address once the terms are agreed upon.

  • Do you offer 3D scanning services?

We can operate within the small to medium range, achieving accuracy between 100 and 35 microns. However, due to our limited budget, we currently do not have the capability for long-range operations. Furthermore, we are not ISO accredited, and our scanners have not been verified for metrology purposes.

  • Do you ship internationally?

We only ship within the United States.

  • What payments are accepted?

PayPal, Apple Pay, and all major credit cards are accepted.

  • Are refunds allowed?

Refunds are allowed only if work has not been initiated or part has not been received via shipment. Furthermore,

Due to the custom and service-based nature of 3D scanning and reverse-engineering work, deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Scanning services are non-refundable after completion.

Reverse-engineering deliverables are eligible for correction if they do not meet the agreed scope, file format, or stated tolerances. Refunds are only issued if the deliverable cannot be reasonably corrected.

No refunds are provided for changes in project scope, design intent, manufacturing constraints, or third-party requirements not disclosed before project start.

  • How long are the lead times?

We appreciate your understanding that lead times can vary based on the specifics of each project. Whether we are reverse engineering a part or developing a design from the ground up, the timeframe can range from one day to several weeks. In 3D printing, factors such as complexity, size, quantity, post-processing, and the potential for print failures may affect our timelines.

Additionally, given the diverse volume and scope of projects we handle, there may be instances where we cannot meet all customer requests. We genuinely value your patience in these matters. If you have a project with a specific deadline, please let us know, and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Thank you for your understanding and support.
